INTRODUCTION

Karo Teak’s main activity is the direct factory export of indoor and outdoor furniture from Indonesia since 1997.

Our factory, located in Central Java, Jepara, employs 50 workers including our own skilled carpenters & a team specialized in product finishing and supported by 5 skilled administrative staff.

Our organization deals with high quality teak and mahogany products offering the best cut for furniture and also uncompromised finishing. Retailers & wholesalers are definitely most welcome. Contact us for enquiries on purchases in bulk or container loads.

We also have more than a decade of experience exporting to European, Middle East and Asian markets. Along with a passionate & dedicated staff, we assure your purchases are of authentic & worthy investments.

Our factory floor area is about 20,000 sq/ft, we are able to produce up to 4 container loads of furniture per month. With our recently established showroom in Singapore of about 2,000 sq/ft, we aim to offer everyone a wide variety of furniture designs that can cater to everyone’s needs.

Along with our competitive prices, absorbed GST and delivery charges, we also provide custom-made orders with your own required specifications and finishing plus up to date quotations of mass production by Director of Company.

Although with limited manpower in Singapore, we have attained and nurtured our staff as to be sincere & determined to provide customers with the best service possible. 3 of our staff handle sales, admin & customer-related services while we have 2 employees who handle the logistical and technical aspects of our furniture business.

What sets us apart from most teakwood retailers is that here at Karo Teak Furniture, products that are in varnished/sprayed finishing (Rattan Brown, Natural Dark, Walnut, Classic) are covered with 3 layers of finishing spray (same used for cars & commercial planes) which result in 100% finishing coverage for all areas of the furniture item.

Our furniture is made from 100% teak (tectona grandis) wood, which is harvested from government-regulated and sustainable teak plantations.

Once the teak is delivered to our factory in Central Java, we put the ‘raw’ wood into an oven to dry it. This takes the humidity out of the wood, only then do we cut it to make the pieces. We check for moisture content levels with regulating instruments so as to achieve unadulterated quality teak.
